  Bebo was founded in 2005 by Michael Birch and his wife, Xochi Birch. Bebo's headquarters is in San Francisco, California, United States.

   Bebo was owned by AOL, until April 2010 when they announced they were going to sell or shut down the social networking site. The Criterion Capital Partners bought Bebo for under $10 million in June 2010. Criterion Capital Partners still own Bebo to this day. The operating income is $1.1 million.

  Bebo is a social networking site where you can contact friends and family from all around the world. You can upload photos, send messages to other people, update your own profile by adding videos or music and much more.

  Bebo lost its popularity in 2009 when Facebook started to increase in popularity. People still use Bebo all around the world. Bebo, like Myspace is used by over 23m around the world.
